Airway Q&A (WISAC 2023)

The following question and answer session was moderated by Dr Melor Mohd Mansor and paneled by Dr Paulo San Pedro during the Wilayah and Selangor Anaesthesia Conference (WISAC) 2023 airway symposium.

This conference was organized by the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care of Hospital Ampang on 18-19 November 2023. In person conference was held at the Everly Putrajaya and was also hosted online via the Google Meet platform.

Dr Melor's Farewell Video

The Malaysian Head of Service for Anaesthesia Services and Head of Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Dr Melor Mansor, will retire soon.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, holding an in person celebration was not possible. As a substitute, we have made a video montage celebrating his services in our department.

My original idea was to have a video that could stand on its own as its own event. This was definitely my most difficult video project to date. Probably 60 hours of work, with each video segment replayed more than 20 times for both audio and video adjustments. With that came many lessons regarding the process of video production for me to remember for the future.

Enjoy. For now I’m keeping MY sigRA mostly (stay tuned as it’s about to be different for the next few weeks) related to professional regional anaesthesia content, and my personal channel as a be-all channel.
