Weekend 1 of the Restricted Movement Order

Drove back to KL from Melaka. After 3 weeks on leave, my family certainly did not want me to return to work. My eyes still suffer from dryness but I no longer believe I am contagious.

The drive was initially very smooth. There was sparse traffic. No roadblocks until after the Sungai Besi toll.

Will soon serve again as a doctor, and will undoubtedly have to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic directly at some point. Then I will have to make decisions as to how long to be separated from family.

And I also need to think of how to train, as I have not at all for the past 3 weeks.

Till then, may we all survive this.

The queue inside was literally zero, none ordering before me, none waiting for their orders to be done before as well

Minimal people going through the drive-through service at McDonald’s. People are just not going out to eat, period.

The number of workers are reduced too; there’s actually quite a queue at the drive-through lane for their orders to be prepared, despite the low rate of cars coming in

Parking is not a problem today nor in the upcoming weeks

Parking sections have been closed off, as have many of the entrances
