Interview with Naufal Norowi (of EAM Strength) by Muhammad Amir Ayub

My friend Naufal Norowi is a strength/fitness coach, and the other day interviewed plain old me regarding the needs/benefits of strength training. Damn do I look bad with the built-in webcam of my 2012 MacBook Pro.

By the way, once upon a time he also interviewed me with us together instead of via Skype, which I forgot to follow up on and share.

Forget the fact that I'm not in sports medicine and is I guess at most a semiserious lifter (along with a bunch of stuff that makes me one that's not really qualified to talk about training/fitness). But do check out my friend's website and get in touch with him if you're interested in coaching, whether you're relatively young or relatively older (which is his main clientele).

My professional development requirements may be making me poorer by the day, but I do hope that small successes like this makes it worth it, step by step.

I Guess Canadians are Imperfect Like the Rest of Us by Muhammad Amir Ayub

How expensive is cheese in Canada, you ask? Well let’s consider pizza, everybody’s favourite cheese delivery mechanism. There’s a big nationwide chain here called Boston Pizza that sells, among other things, pizza. A large pepperoni pizza at Boston Pizza is $30.28.

At Pizza Hut in the US, they currently have a deal on where you get a large pepperoni pizza for $7.99. That is less than $30.28 – even after health insurance premiums.

How are Canadians who are apologetic even when bumping people atypically unapologetic about this
